Katerina Kamprani 

After coming across the artist Katerina Kamprani, I love her collection 'The uncomfortable', this being her goal:

"The goal is to re-design useful objects making them uncomfortable but usable and maintain the semiotics of the original item".

The Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II 

Whilst in Milan we visited one of the worlds oldest shopping centres in the world: Galleria Vittorio Emanuele. One of my favourite parts of Milan, it combines the historic with the modern a quality I found throughout the city of Milan. It oozes luxury with brands such as Prada and Louis Vuitton, as well as several fancy restaurants and cafes. 

The Berlin Wall 

I love to discover different forms of inspiration.The East Side Gallery is a memorial for freedom in Germany expressing it in a modern,creative and innovative way. Without losing sight of the history and sacrifices made in the search for equality and an end to segregation.

Each painting was bold and demonstrative and was like nothing I'd ever seen before. Here are some photographs a The East Side Gallery:

KaDeWe 

Whilst in Berlin we visited the biggest department store in Europe: The Kaufhaus Des Westens or what it's more commonly known as KaDeWe. The inside was modern, luxurious, upmarket and to state the obvious...BIG. We spent a couple of hours browsing all which KeDeWe had to offer.

Bershka 

Whilst in Berlin I came across a new store Bershka. I had never come across this retailer before. Aimed at a younger target market, their style of clothing I found similar to the high-street store Zara. They had some unique pieces all at a reasonable price .Bershka is part of the Spanish Inditex group which also owns Zara, Zara Home, Pull & Bear, Massimo Dutti, Oysho, Uterque and Stradivarius.

Bershka also has stores in the UK and will now be a brand which I will look out for.

Travelling around Europe! 

I've always aspired to travel. Seeing and experiencing different sights and cultures is something that has always been of interest to me. For the past three weeks I have been interrailing around Europe. Starting in Berlin, we then visited Prague, Krakow, Budapest, Croatia then ended with the stunning Italy. I will always take any opportunity to visit and experience new places.
